Who We Are
The Smiths (respectively known as the "family fixers") are professional counselors who have served in the Greater New York area and beyond for the last 20 plus years, helping individuals and families heal from their personal and emotional wounds. They are Christian counselors who provide holistic assessment and help individuals uncover their strengths and assets. They help individuals develop adaptive skills in order to remedy the challenges that prevent them from meeting their personal goals.
The Smiths are the hosts of the 3Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) Christian television series, Marriages in God's Hands, and have produced and presented the 13-part series, Families for Heaven, which is also aired on both 3ABN and Hope T.V. Christian networks. They have conducted more than 1,000 family life seminars nationally and internationally, and have co-authored and published several books, including their best sellers, "Why Good Relationships Turn Bad" and "Abandoned in Brandon." They are certified trainers and test administrators for the Myers Briggs Preference Type Indicator and Dr. Alanzo Smith is a certified trainer for Prepare-Enrich. The Smiths have been married for more than 30 years and are proud parents of one daughter, a son-in-law, and a 3-year-old grandson.
